Doré Law Firm is a small law office of currently 2 employees located in the Foster Powell Neighborhood in SE Portland. We serve clients in courts from Eastern Oregon to the Coast, from Linn County to Thurston County and beyond. Our cases focus on criminal and traffic ticket defense.
As an Attorney at Doré Law Firm, you will have the opportunity to represent clients in cases across Oregon and SW Washington. From initial client consultations to court appearances and trials, you will play a vital role in ensuring justice is served. Our approach is to help our clients, many who have never had any prior contact with the legal system, navigate a scary and difficult time to get their best possible outcome.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal representation in criminal and traffic cases
- Advise clients on legal matters with empathy and clarity
- Handle negotiations, court appearances, and trials
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve the best outcomes for clients
- Demonstrate exceptional professionalism and integrity in all interactions
- Some travel to out-of-town courts may be required
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Admission to practice law in Oregon; Washington admission preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to empathize with clients
- Willingness to travel to courts across Oregon and SW Washington
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Dedication to delivering high-quality legal services
- Experience in criminal law is a plus
Benefits:
- Competitive salary of $65,000 – 75,000 per year + bonuses
- Generous sick time, paid vacation time, 13 holidays, Paid time off and flexible work schedule (Generally 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday)
